Magic Globe is made by an independent developer. There are no ads, no in‑app purchases, and no accounts.
Gesture control needs camera permission and decent lighting. Tap Gestures, allow the camera when asked, and hold your open hand a bit back from the screen so the front camera can see it. You can always spin the globe by touch instead.
Voice control isn't responding.Tap Speak and allow the microphone when asked, then say a short command like "take me to France" or "zoom in." Voice works best in a quiet room. It's completely optional.
There's no sound.Check that your device isn't muted and the volume is up. You can also tap Sound in the app to toggle audio.
How do I switch between English and Chinese?Tap the 🌐 language button in the top toolbar.
Does it work offline?Yes. All maps, country facts, landmarks and images are built into the app, so it works fully offline with no internet connection.

Magic Globe ("the App") is an educational globe app for children. We take children's privacy seriously. This policy explains, in plain language, what the App does with data.
The App does not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal information. There are no user accounts, no analytics, no advertising, and no third‑party tracking of any kind. The App does not send any data off your device.
The App can use the device camera only for the optional hand‑gesture feature, so a child can spin the globe and pick countries with hand movements. The camera image is processed entirely on the device, in real time, to detect hand position. It is never recorded, saved, or uploaded. The camera is used only while the gesture feature is turned on, and only after you grant permission. You can use the whole App with touch instead and never enable the camera.
The App has an optional voice‑control feature, so a child can say things like "take me to France" or "zoom in." Only when you turn this feature on and grant microphone permission does the App listen and turn speech into text using Apple's built‑in Speech Recognition. On devices that support it, this runs on your device; on some older devices Apple may transcribe the audio on Apple's servers, under Apple's own privacy policy. In all cases, the App itself never records, stores, or shares your audio, and the microphone is used only while voice control is turned on. You can use the whole App without ever enabling voice control.
The App can read country descriptions and fun facts aloud using your device's built‑in text‑to‑speech. This happens on the device; no audio is recorded or sent anywhere.
The App's content (maps, country facts, images) is bundled inside the App and works offline. The App does not require an internet connection and does not transmit data.
The App is designed for children and does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children under 13.
